Hey, I'm Yutaro and I make stuff.

I would call myself a tinkerer, maker, and in general a individual with a interest in too many things. If there's anything that seems interesting, I will happily stick my nose in and see what's going on. My current obsessions include: Sensors, Biosensing, embedded systems, and I'm always eager to learn something new or dive deeper into unexplored territory.

Personal Directive: If you can't find a place to apply what you have learned, find one. There's got to be somewhere to put it. Also, the more knowledge, the better (usually). Also, try new things

A little bit of personal history

Pre-College

I was born and raised in Kirkland, Washington, and went to a high school in Redmond, Washington where I learned a lot of new things, got to meet interesting people, and participate in a few projects like building underwater robots, helping build a mobility device for disabled children, become a amateur forensics examiner, fly 100PSI bottle rockets (with custom radio controlled parachute deployment that I wrote) and much more.

University

I am currently enrolled as a undergraduate student studying computer science and engineering (CSE) at the University of California, Irvine (UCI). I have manged to involve myself in a few projects, designing large drones (UAV Forge), helping with the electronics on a landing leg, helping with the electronics on a underwater ROV, and helping out with research regarding drones and RF.

What's next?

Only time will tell...

While easy to get started, Astrowind is quite complex internally. This page provides documentation on some of the more intricate parts.
